Box Furnaces

Box furnaces use an insulated chamber to provide high-temperature processing with direct access to the sample area. The current category includes Thermolyne™ muffle furnaces and Lindberg/Blue M™ box furnaces used for laboratory ashing, heat treatment, material testing, and other controlled thermal processes.

Select a model according to its operating-temperature range, usable chamber capacity, controller type, heating program requirements, door configuration, and electrical supply. Programmable controllers may support defined ramp and dwell stages, while overtemperature protection provides an independent safeguard against excessive chamber temperature. Confirm whether the selected model is intended for ordinary air operation or provides inlet and vent provisions for atmosphere exchange.
