These cryogenic storage accessories, such as tube wraps, sleeves and mini-boxes, have safe handling in mind.

• If you want to submerge your cryotubes in the liquid phase of nitrogen, seal them first inside Nunc Cryoflex tubing to prevent liquid nitrogen from infiltrating the tube. Cryoflex tubing can used to crimp and heat shrink an impenetrable safety skin around the tube prior to submersion.
• Nalgene CryoSleeves slide over any Nunc or Nalgene Cryocane and prevent tubes from falling out of the cryocane and into the bottom of the liquid nitrogen dewar. Nalgene CryoSleeves do not prevent infiltration of liquid nitrogen. Cryogenic tubes mounted in the cane must first be sealed inside Cryoflex tubing prior to applying the CryoSleeve if liquid phase submersion is required.
