Poly-D-Lysine
Poly-D-Lysine (PDL) is a chemically synthesized extracellular matrix that is used to promote cell adhesion by altering surface charges on tissue-culture treated glass or plastic surfaces. It specifically facilitates neuronal differentiation and expansion. PDL is animal origin-free and contains polymers with a molecular weight of 50,000–150,000 Daltons.

PDL is available in a coated multidish ready to use format to reduce preparation time. The plates can be stored at room temperature for a maximum shelf life of 24 months. PDL-coated plates are available as a case of 20 plates with 5 plates per vacuum sealed foil pack with a desiccant.
