Thermo Scientific Nalgene Polypropylene Floating Microtube Racks - Polypropylene - 5974-0404

Thaw, cool and incubate samples at elevated or reduced temperatures with Thermo Scientific Nalgene Polypropylene Floating Microtube Racks. Especially useful in genetic cloning, microbiology and immunology labs, these racks offer excellent temperature resistance from -70° to +100°C (-94° to +212°F). Tubes are supported in the rack below the lip. Square or round racks have molded-in letters and numbers at each hole for easy sample identification.

• Square- and round-style racks for incubating 0.5 to 2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes at elevated or reduced temperatures in water or ice baths
• Round-style racks fit conveniently inside 400mL or 1000mL beakers
• Square racks are designed for stable flotation in turbulent water baths — racks will float with a full load of filled tubes
• On benchtop, rack legs prevent bottom of tubes from touching bench surface
• Handle provides convenient transport, agitation and removal from water bath
• Each hole has molded-in letters and numbers for easy sample identification

Nalgene reusable polypropylene(PP) products are designed to last many years under typical laboratory conditions. Yet, as with all durable products, they need to be retired and replaced eventually. These racks and their packaging are recyclable in many communities. Please recycle the corrugate cartons and LDPE bags in which your Nalgene products are packaged. And at end of product life, please wash and recycle your Nalgene racks if services are available in your community.
