Centrifugalize low- to moderate-speed, large-volume, biological and chemical samples with Thermo Scientific Nalgene PPCO Centrifuge Bottles, which include a sealing closure for added leakproof† assurance at maximum speeds when spinning hazardous materials. Molded of rigid and robust polypropylene copolymer, these translucent bottles are designed for pelleting applications, such as cell culture harvesting and protein biochemistry, including ammonium sulfate precipitations. Additionally, these PPCO bottles are autoclavable and offer excellent mechanical strength.
Features:- For low- to moderate-speed centrifugation of biological and chemical samples
- Bottle includes polypropylene sealing cap assembly with silicone gasket for added leakproof† assurance at maximum speeds or when spinning hazardous materials
- For proper performance, bottles must be filled to 80% of total capacity
- Autoclavable
Requires:
When spinning 250mL bottle in a Sorvall GSA rotor, use of the Nalgene centrifuge bottle adapter (DS3125-0250) is required.
Recycling Information:
Nalgene reusable polypropylene(PP) and polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) centrifuge tubes are designed to last many spins under typical laboratory conditions. Yet, as with all durable products, they need to be retired and replaced eventually. These centrifuge tubes are recyclable in many communities. At end of product life, please wash and recycle your Nalgene PP and PPCO centrifuge tubes if services are available in your community.
